These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of BioBand Health Systems' platform, including biobandhealth.ca and the BioBand application. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Acceptance of terms
The final version of this section will describe what constitutes acceptance (account creation, continued use, agreement to specific terms during signup), how updates to these Terms are communicated, and the legal entity providing the service.
Account responsibilities
This section will describe account-holder responsibilities: providing accurate information, maintaining credential security, accurate representation of your role (athlete, parent, coach, practitioner), and the rules around account sharing or transfer.
It will also describe responsibilities specific to practitioner accounts, including the duty of care owed to athletes whose data is accessed through the platform.
Acceptable use
This section will describe permitted and prohibited uses of the platform: legitimate sports science and athlete development purposes, prohibitions on scraping or unauthorized data extraction, prohibitions on misrepresentation, and the consequences of violations.
Service availability
This section will describe service-level expectations: planned maintenance windows, BioBand's reasonable efforts to maintain uptime, the absence of warranties for uninterrupted service, and procedures for reporting outages or data issues.
Limitation of liability
This section will describe the scope of BioBand's liability and indemnification obligations to the extent permitted by applicable law. BioBand provides sports-science-informed recommendations; final training and medical decisions remain with practitioners, athletes, and their families.
