We use your browser's local storage — not cookies — for two small, functional purposes:

• Theme preference (localStorage, key bb-theme): remembers whether you chose the light or dark version of the site, so it stays that way on your next visit.
• Page-transition direction (sessionStorage, key bb-from): remembers which page you came from so the next page can slide in from the right direction. This is cleared automatically when you close the tab.

Both stay on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else, and they are not used to identify or track you.

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising or marketing trackers, social-media pixels, or any third-party cookies for tracking. Because we don't set tracking cookies, there is no cookie banner to click through.

You can clear this stored preference at any time through your browser settings (clearing site data for biobandhealth.ca). If you do, the site simply falls back to your system's light/dark setting on your next visit.

If we ever add analytics or other cookies in future, we will update this page first and add any consent controls that are required before such cookies are used.
